Jensen Just Launched A Chromecast Speaker With Hi-Res Audio

Jensen has just launched a Chromecast speaker with Hi-Res audio called the JSB-1000 and it's already available for purchase. While the JSB-1000 will be available at multiple retailers, such as Best Buy, KOHL'S, Target, Home Depot, Walmart, and Costco, the only place where it's available at the moment is Walmart, at least when it comes to online as Jensen notes that it will be coming soon to those other locations. That being said, Walmart shows the speaker on sale for $127.29 which would make this a pretty good value compared to other speakers which also have Chromecast Audio built in.

The speakers look relatively compact so they shouldn't take up a whole lot of space which is great if you're someone who is worried about fitting these in the spots within your home where you would want to put a speaker. The other good thing about the JSB-1000 is that the design of the speaker is pretty minimal and it isn't flashy so it should easily go with just about any home decor no matter your tastes.

Since the speaker supports Chromecast Audio you can use the Google Home app to begin streaming to it, but you can also just hit the Chromecast button from within whatever application you're streaming music from whether that's Spotify, Google Play Music, or others. It also supports Spotify Connect. It's also Bluetooth compatible which means that you can stream music using Bluetooth as well if you prefer it over the Chromecast method. The JSB-1000 can push 2 x 15 watts of output power which is plenty loud enough to fill whatever room you have it in, but because it uses Chromecast Audio you can also link speakers together if you have multiple JSB-1000s, one for each room.  If you don't want to stream music, it's just as easy to plug your device into the JSB-1000 using the aux port that's located on the back of it. Controls are easy to access too as they're located on the top of the speaker so they're impossible to miss, and here you'll find the Bluetooth button as well as buttons for managing volume and playback to pause or play songs.
