The LG G6 is a pretty great looking smartphone, but since it is a glass smartphone, it means that it's going to be pretty slippery. So many people are going to want to slap a case onto their new LG G6, and luckily there are some great looking ones out there like the Caseology Parallax Series Case that we've been using on the LG G6 for a few days now. The Caseology Parallax Series is available for most smartphones (even the new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus), and it's a somewhat protective smartphone case. It uses a TPU bumper for taking damage when you drop the phone. Even though the bumper is TPU, it doesn't feel flimsy, and it's not bulky.
Overall, the Caseology Parallax Series Case is not bulky, it adds just a tiny bit of heft to the device, but keeps the LG G6 looking great. It's available in a few colors, we have the black one here on a black LG G6 which does really look great. It's also available in burgundy and navy blue for the LG G6. The Parallax Series is actually a two-part case. There's the soft-touch case, and then the hard bumper that goes around it. This is to protect your LG G6, while also adding grip to the backside of your smartphone. Since glass smartphones not only carry around fingerprints, but are also tough to hold onto, the Parallax Series is a great case to grab for the LG G6.
What makes the Parallax unique is the fact that it has a rather unique design on the back, which makes it look unique and also different from many of the other cases out there right now. This design on the Parallax means that it will be easier to hold onto the device, so that it's less likely to fall out of your hands. That's always a good thing.
As usual, the Caseology Parallax Series does have openings for all of the ports. This includes the speaker and USB-C port at the bottom, as well as the headphone jack up top. There isn't one for the volume rocker, but the buttons are still easy to press, but not so easy that you might press them by mistake. That's definitely a good thing these days. There are also two cutouts on the back, one for the camera module and one for the fingerprint sensor/power button. I actually like this better instead of using one huge cutout for the fingerprint sensor and camera. It makes it look better, and exposes less of the backside to the elements. Considering you are buying a case to protect your LG G6, you definitely won't want to leave a large portion of the back open.
So now the big question, should you buy the Caseology Parallax Series for your LG G6? The short answer is yes. Personally, I've been a big fan of Caseology's cases for quite some time. They put out some rather amazing looking cases for different smartphones (another good series is the Skyfall series) and the Parallax is no different. Surprisingly, the Caseology Parallax Series cases are only about $13 each, which is a pretty good price for such a high-end case. Usually cases like these would be much, much more expensive. So it's nice to see these so cheap. All three colors of the Caseology Parallax Series - black, burgundy and navy blue - are available from Amazon right now, and they are offered with Amazon Prime shipping, so you can get them in your hands in the next two days. This is good so that you don't end up leaving your LG G6 exposed for too long.
