Over 1 million people registered for the first Xiaomi Mi 6 flash sale. Xiaomi had introduced its Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship last week in China, and the first flash sale will commence in two days, on April 28. According to Jingdong Mall (JD.com), one of the largest retailers in China, registrations for the Xiaomi Mi 6 sale surpassed 1.1 million, and they're still growing. It seems like quite a few consumers are interested in Xiaomi's latest flagship, though that doesn't exactly come as a surprise. Do keep in mind that over 1.1 million people registered for the flash sale on Jingdong Mall only, who knows how many registrations Xiaomi received directly.
Now, according to latest rumors, Xiaomi had prepared 'only' 80,000 Xiaomi Mi 6 units for the first flash sale, and if accurate, that means that a ton of consumers will be left short-handed on Friday. Do keep in mind that such numbers have not been confirmed by Xiaomi, though, so who knows, maybe the company prepared significantly more Xiaomi Mi 6 units to sell after all, we'll see. All things considered, it seems like the company will be left without a single Xiaomi Mi 6 units in less than a minute once the sale commences. As a reminder, the 32GB storage variant of the Xiaomi Mi 6 costs 2,499 Yuan ($363), while the 128GB storage model goes for 2,899 Yuan ($421). The ceramic variant of the phone will set you back 2,999 Yuan ($435) if you'd like to get it, though do keep in mind we're not sure if it will go on sale this Friday or not, as its quantities will be highly limited, at least according to the latest report.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 (regular variant) is made out of metal and glass, it sports a 5.15-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 6GB of RAM and 64GB and 128GB of native storage. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, and it comes with a set of two 12-megapixel shooters on the back. An 8-megapixel camera can be found on the front side of the Xiaomi Mi 6, and a 3,350mAh battery is also included in this package, and it is not removable. Android Nougat comes pre-installed on the phone, and on top of it, you'll get Xiaomi's MIUI 8 OS. Follow this link if you'd like to know more about the Xiaomi Mi 6.
