Unlocked LG G6 Coming Soon to B&H Photo

The LG G6 went up for pre-order at a number of carriers today, including Sprint, Verizon and AT&T. However some are still looking for the unlocked LG G6, and it appears that B&H Photo may have what you are looking for, eventually. They have listed the US997 model of the LG G6 on their website, but there is no mention of pricing or when it'll be available. Instead you can sign up to be notified when it'll be available. Since every other carrier in the US is launching the device on April 7th, it wouldn't be surprising to see the LG G6 become available on that date, at B&H Photo. Pricing would likely be similar to the full retail price found at the carrier stores too.

LG's latest smartphone is available in two colors, Ice Platinum and Black, both look pretty nice although the rest of the world gets a few other colors. The US model does get wireless charging (both PMA and Qi) as well as waterproofing, which is pretty nice. On the spec sheet, LG has put basically all of the high-end internals that are currently available. This includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a micro SD card slot for expanding that storage. There is also a 3300mAh battery that is non-removable this time around, but it does support Quick Charge 3.0, so you are able to charge it up fairly quickly.

On the back there are two cameras, like with the LG G5, one is a wide-angle camera while the other is a standard camera. Both of these are now 13-megapixel sensors. So when you switch from wide to normal, you aren't sacrificing quality, which is very important. The front-facing camera is also a bit wider than normal, and is a 5-megapixel sensor, which performs quite well. The LG G6 does also have a 5.7-inch display which sports a 18:9 aspect ratio, a bit taller than most smartphones these days. But it allowed LG to throw in a larger screen while keeping the same physical size as the LG G5. You can check out the LG G6 at B&H Photo using the link below, it should be available in the coming days.
