Over the past few weeks Ulefone has been teasing the arrival of a number of new smartphones and today, one of them arrived, the Ulefone Power 2. As the name suggests this is a follow on device to the popular Ulefone Power and continues the line's big selling point of offering an extended level of battery life. In particular, the Ulefone Power 2 comes equipped with a 6,050 mAh battery. However, as the company has now formally introduced the Ulefone Power 2, along with that introduction has come a full explanation of the rest of the specs that are on offer with this new arrival.
In terms of those specs, the Ulefone Power 2 is now confirmed to come sporting a 5.5-inch FHD display. Inside, the Ulefone Power 2 comes loaded with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and is powered by a MediaTek MTK6750T octa-core SoC (clocking at 1.5 GHz). It is also worth noting that the chipset comes with support for Cat 6 and 50/300 Mbps 4G speed. In terms of cameras, you will find a 16-megapixel (interpolated) camera on the back and a 13-megapixel (interpolated) camera on the front. While the front of the device is also where you will find the included fingerprint scanner and gyro sensor. This is a smartphone that comes running on Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box.
Coming back to the battery though and this is clearly the main aspect to focus on. In fact, Ulefone states that the included 6050 mAh battery capacity will be good to last up to 4 days. When the battery does need to be charged, thanks to the included 9V/2A PE2.0 fast charger, the battery can reach a full recharge in about two hours time. Other aspects that are worth noting, include a metal body design, as well as a matte finish. According to Ulefone, the Power 2 will be available in 3 colors, consisting of black, gold, and grey. While in terms of availability, those interested in picking up one will not have to wait long as Ulefone has confirmed that pre-orders will begin on March 29.
