Super Mario Run Now Available To Download On Android

Super Mario Bros. likely needs no introduction and likewise, neither will Super Mario Run. This is the latest mobile game to come from Nintendo and up until now has remained exclusively available since launch to devices running on iOS. Although that has now changed. It had been announced and expected that Super Mario Run would become available to download from March 23, tomorrow. Although for whatever reason, Nintendo has decided to make the game available a day early. So if you have been waiting for Super Mario Run to become available on Android, then it now is and you can download a copy through the link below.

In many ways, Super Mario Run is designed to be an endless runner type of game and as Nintendo describes it in the Google Play Store listing, "a new kind of Mario game that you can play with one hand." So expect lots of screen tapping to be in effect as you navigate your way through the mushroom and coin-filled terrain that is the Mushroom Kingdom. According to the Play Store listing, you should expect to have to work your way through 6 worlds and 24 courses before reaching Bowser's Castle.

In terms of the download, this is a free to download game, although you can and should expect to pay to unlock the full game's functionality. Which at the moment comes in the form of a $9.99 in-app purchase. Although this is a one-time unlock price so once paid for, there are no additional fees or costs associated with the game. Once purchased, there are a number of extra added value features thrown in for good measure, including more rounds and bonus stages, as well as the option to be able to play with other characters, including Luigi, Yoshi, and Toadette. For those just looking to test the game out for free first, in addition to being able to test-run World Tour, Road Rally, and Kingdom Builder, you will also be able to play through the first world. In Mario talk, that is stage 1-1 through to 1-4. Head through the link below to find out more or to download Super Mario Run.
