New Video Compares OUKITEL K6000 Plus Fast Charging Speeds

The big selling point with the new OUKITEL K6000 Plus is that it comes equipped with a large 6,080 mAh battery. Which is significantly greater than the capacity you will find on most other smartphones. Inevitably, this does lead to the assumption that it will offer greater levels of battery life per charge. Although, equally as inevitably, it does lead to the assumption that the K6000 Plus will require longer to charge the device again. As a means to counteract lengthened charging times, OUKITEL had already confirmed that the K6000 Plus does come with a fast charging 12V/2A charger included. One which will look to charge the 6,080 mAh capacity in as little as 100 minutes. To showcase that the included charger does indeed charge the K6000 Plus in 100 minutes, OUKITEL has released a new video.

The video shows the OUKITEL K6000 Plus (technically, three of them) all being charged by different chargers, including a 5V/2A charger, a 9V/2A charger, and of course, the 12V/2A charger. The results of the video highlight that the 12V/2A charger is able to charge the K6000 Plus much quicker than the other chargers. For instance, by the time the 12V/2A charger has fully charged the K6000 Plus (from 0 to 100-percent), the 9V/2A charger manages a 90-percent charge, while the 5V/2A charger only manages a 47-percent charge. In terms of time, the 12V/2A charger achieves the full charge in exactly one hour and 39 minutes - just ahead of the mentioned 100 minutes that OUKITEL claims. You can see a breakdown of the results below.

The 6,080 mAh battery aside, the rest of the specs on offer with the OUKITEL K6000 Plus include a 5.5-inch display with an FHD resolution. While inside, the K6000 Plus comes packed with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T octa-core processor (clocking at 1.5 GHz). In addition, the K6000 Plus comes loaded with a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, expandable storage support (up to 2TB), a fingerprint scanner, and more. In terms of availability, the K6000 Plus is now listed on the OUKITEL website and is expected to become available to pre-order from April 5. At which point, the K6000 Plus will be available to order at a reduced cost of $179.99 - compared to an expected general availability price of $209.99. OUKITEL also notes that they will be offering a number of gifts along with the K6000 Plus to those who pre-order early enough.
