Moto G5 Plus is Available for Purchase Today, Starting at $229

The Moto G5 Plus went up for pre-order last week, at a slew of retailers, and it is now available for purchase. The Moto G5 Plus comes in at a starting price of $229 for the 32GB model and $299 for the 64GB model. The Moto G5 Plus is said to be one of the best mid-range smartphones on the market right now, and that's definitely true from our review of the device, which you can read right here.

Motorola announced the Moto G5 Plus at Mobile World Congress last month in Barcelona, and it got plenty of attention, and was even named "Best of MWC 2017" by Android Headlines. Now the device is finally available. With the Moto G5 Plus, Motorola decided to continue with their recipe for the Moto G lineup, allowing users to use their Moto G5 Plus on virtually any carrier in the US. This smartphone is available for Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T, all you need to do is pop in your SIM and you're good to go. Spec-wise, there is a 5.2-inch full HD display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with either 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There is also a pretty large 3000mAh battery inside.

While the Moto G5 Plus is available to purchase at a slew of retailers now, Amazon is also offering it up as a Prime Exclusive smartphone. Where they are discounting the price to $185 and $239 respectively. These smartphones are discounted because Amazon places ads on the lockscreen, and this allows Amazon to bring in some more cash, while also selling smartphones to their customers for less. Amazon does sell the Moto G5 Plus with and without ads, so if you don't want the ad version, you can still pick it up from Amazon. Other retailers selling the Moto G5 Plus include Newegg, B&H Photo, and of course Motorola.com. You can order yours today, and it'll arrive within the next few days. Unfortunately, this year the Moto G5 Plus is not available inside Moto Maker, so you're stuck with the two colors that are available which are shine gold and lunar gray.
