The MAZE Blade is a newly-announced smartphone from MAZE Mobile and follows on from the company’s MAZE Alpha smartphone. However, in spite of being announced, there has been limited details coming through on the MAZE Blade, including what it offers, it specs, and its general design. Although that has now changed a little, as not only has Maze Mobile released a new video which showcases some of the design points of the MAZE Blade, but a product listing page for the new smartphone has also now gone live on the MAZE Mobile official website - essentially confirming much of the specs that are on offer.
In terms of those specs, the product page now confirms that the MAZE Blade comes loaded with a 5.5-inch FHD display. Inside, the MAZE Blade comes packing 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor (clocking at 1.3 GHz). In terms of cameras, the MAZE Blade comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera, as well as an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Additional features include a fingerprint sensor, dual-SIM support and microSD card support (up to 64GB). This is a smartphone that comes powered by a Quick Charge-supported 3,000 mAh battery and comes running on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box. While in terms of the design, it does seem as though the MAZE Blade has a Sony Xperia feel about it. Albeit with some differences.
Unfortunately, the one thing that the product listing page does not provide any firm details on is the actual price. As such, it is still unknown how much the MAZE Blade will cost when it becomes available. Although, it is expected to become available at a very competitive price and certainly a price which competes within the affordable and budget smartphone sector. In terms of when you can expect to pick up a MAZE Blade smartphone, this has also yet to be confirmed by the company, although it is understood the MAZE Blade will become available to buy online in early April.
