Honor Becomes Official Partner Of 'Kong: Skull Island' Movie

Honor has partnered up with Chupscom in order to promote the Kong: Skull Island movie that is coming to cinemas soon. Now, as you probably already know, this movie is a new iteration of King Kong, it’s actually a prequel to King Kong, and some of the biggest names in the movie industry are involved in the project, namely Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson.

Honor actually enjoyed similar partnerships in the past, as the company promoted Doctor Strange and Assassin’s Creed movies. Now, as part of this partnership, Honor is promoting their Honor 6X mid-range smartphone, which has plenty to offer for the price, that’s for sure. Akin Li, Managing Director of Honor in Western Europe mentioned that the Honor 6X comes with an octa-core processor, up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, not to mention that it sports two camera snappers on its back, and costs less than £225. Now, in addition to that, Mr. Li said the following: “Kong exposes the same power, the same speed and endurance as our Honor 6X and is a perfect match”. Kong: Skull Island is coming to cinemas on March 9th, it is starting playing in a number of cinemas all around the world, though it won’t be available everywhere on said date, so do keep that in mind. Now, Honor also mentioned that fans of the movie will be able to download the Kong mobile theme to their Honor-branded smartphone, and the company is also giving away the Honor 6X. Now, in order to get a chance to win this smartphone, you’ll need to play the Kong memory game on the company’s website.

There you have it, that is more or less all the info that Honor shared with the public. The Honor 6X is now Kong: Skull Island’s official smartphone, in a way, and it’s quite interesting that Honor opted to promote this particular smartphone this way. In any case, if you’d like to know more about the Honor 6X, feel free to check out our full review of this smartphone, as it’s truly a compelling smartphone when you consider how affordable is it.
