The Roku Premiere+ is seeing its first price drop, and it's been dropped across the board. Multiple retailers are offering up the Roku Premiere+ for just $79. That's $20 off of their regular price. This includes Amazon, B&H Photo, Walmart and Jet.com.
For those that may not be aware, the Roku Premiere+ is the company's highest-end streaming media player. It streams in up to 4K quality, and it also has 802.11 ac wireless support, to make sure that you can actually stream movies and TV shows in 4K resolution. Speaking of 4K, it can stream in up to 60 frames-per-second, making for an amazing experience. There's also HDR support included, and much like 4K, your TV will need to support HDR to really experience this feature. The Roku Premiere+ of course has all the great apps that you'd expect from any streaming player in 2017. This includes apps like Netflix, Hulu, Google Play Movies & TV, YouTube, and many, many more (and actually, Comcast is looking to bring their X1 platform to Roku later this year).
This is the first time the Roku Premiere+ dropped in price, even around the holidays, which makes it a great time to pick one up, especially if you've been looking for a good 4K streaming media player.
Special Note regarding Jet.com: If you are a new customer at Jet.com, you can actually get an additional 15% off of your order. Using the code TRIPLE15, you'll get 15% off of your first three orders at Jet.com. Bringing the price down to around $68.
