Best Smartphone Accessories - March 2017

There are lots of new smartphones coming out lately, including the LG G6 and soon the Galaxy S8 will be made official. So what are some good accessories to pick up to go with your new smartphone? Well there are plenty of great ones out there, but here are some of the best that are available right now.

AUKEY USB-C to USB-C Braided Nylon Cable

Most smartphones these days, especially flagship models, are coming with USB-C connectors. Which means that many people are needing to buy new cables to charge their devices. And AUKEY has a great USB-C to USB-C cable here, this is a braided nylon cable so it's definitely strong and can withstand kids and pets. It's also about 3.3-feet long, so it's not exactly long, but long enough for using with a car charger, or plugging into something like the Macbook Pro or Google Chromebook Pixel.

CHOETECH USB Wall Charger with Quick Charge 3.0

Some of the latest smartphones, like the LG G6 and HTC U Ultra, both use Quick Charge 3.0, but typically they don't ship with a charger capable of Quick Charge 3.0. Luckily there are plenty of chargers available that do support it, like this one from CHOETECH. Unfortunately, this is a single port charger, but it will still charge up your LG G6, HTC U Ultra, LG V20, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and many other devices pretty quickly.

Amazon Echo Dot

Not exactly an accessory, but still a pretty cool gadget to pick up. The Amazon Echo Dot is basically a tiny speaker that has Alexa living inside of it. With Alexa, you'll have your own personal assistant that can actually accomplish a bit more than the Google Assistant right now. Alexa can do things like ordering you a pizza, ordering items from Amazon and so much more. It's also a speaker, although not a really good one, you can actually connect it to other speakers.

Anker Quick Charge 3.0 Dual USB Car Charger

Here's another sweet Quick Charge 3.0 charger, this time it's a car charger from Anker. This car charger features two Quick Charge 3.0, with an output of 39W combined. It works great with Quick Charge 3.0 devices, and it also is backwards compatible, along with having PowerIQ included. PowerIQ is Anker's proprietary technology that allows your phone to charge as quickly as it can, safely.

Anker PowerPort Qi 10 Wireless Charging Pad

Anker has made the list again, this time Anker made the list because this is one of the few Qi Wireless Charging pads that are actually high-quality, but also feature fast wireless charging. And since the LG G6, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge and likely the Galaxy S8, all feature fast wireless charging, it's a great choice. It's not quite as fast as Quick Charge 3.0, but it does mean that you no longer need any wires for charging your device, which is cool itself.

Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Charging Stand

This wireless charging stand from Samsung is another good choice, largely because it acts as a stand for your smartphone. So you can set it next to your bed and use your phone as a clock. It is also a fast charging wireless charger, but it is not only compatible with Samsung smartphones. It is compatible with any Qi Wireless Charging smartphone.

Mengo Magna-Snap Mini Magnetic Air Vent Car Mount

This is a magnetic air vent mount for your smartphone. Allowing you to mount your phone while you're in the car, and since it uses magnets, it'll work with any device, big or small. Mengo actually sells this as a pack of two, so you could get one for your smartphone, and one for your significant others'. These clip onto the air vent in your car, so that they are not in the windshield getting in the way of your view while driving.

Bose SoundSport Wireless Headphones

If you're a fitness buff, but also an audiophile, this pair of headphones from Bose is a must buy. These are made for the gym, so they are sweat-proof, but they also offer some pretty incredible sound, and are available in a few colors. Now Bose offers a few options with these. You can get them with or without a charging case, which can more than triple your battery life. There is also a red pair that can track your heart rate, both of these are an extra $50.

Harman Kardon One Portable Bluetooth Speaker

Here's one of the best portable Bluetooth speakers on the Internet, the Harman Kardon One. Harman Kardon is already well-known for their audio quality, and also their designs, and the One definitely does not disappoint. There's a 2000mAh battery inside which will give you enough battery life to last the entire day and then some.

Sony MDRXB650BT/B Extra Bass Bluetooth Headphones

Many have claimed that these are some of the most comfortable headphones on the market, and it's hard to argue with that. Sony has more going for these headphones than comfort though, these are Bluetooth and part of their Extra Bass lineup. Which means that they have plenty of bass for those songs that use tons of bass. That's always a good feature to have, especially those that listen to Hip-Hop and R&B songs a lot.
