AT&T Opens LG G6 Pre-Orders, Shipping April 7th

AT&T already announced that they were going to be opening pre-orders for the LG G6 on March 17th, and now the latest and greatest from LG is available to pre-order from the nation's second-largest carrier. AT&T is offering it on an equipment installment plan - also known as AT&T Next - as well as outright at full retail.

Payment options for AT&T are $24/month for 30 months on AT&T Next, $30/month for 24 months on AT&T Next Every Year, or a full retail price of $720. Remember that the AT&T Next offerings include 0% interest, so you'll be paying the same amount over the next 24-30 months as you would if you bought the phone outright. The LG G6 is going to go great with AT&T's revamped unlimited data plans. There's the Unlimited Choice for $60/month and Unlimited Plus for $90/month. Unlimited Plus is a great option if you subscribe to DIRECTV, DIRECTV NOW or U-verse TV, as you get a $25 credit each month.

In addition to the free Google Home promo that LG is offering, AT&T has a few promotions of their own. They are offering a buy one, get one free deal on the LG G6 if you order a second one on a new line, and put it on AT&T Next. The way this works is that you will get a bill credit each mont for that second LG G6 for either 24 months or 30 months, depending on the plan you choose. The other promotion that AT&T is offering is a LG Watch Sport for just $49.99 on a new two-year agreement. That's $200 off of the regular price for the LG Watch Sport on a two-year agreement.

The LG G6 is definitely a flagship smartphone, even though a few people were a bit saddened by the fact that LG has the Snapdragon 821 in their smartphone as opposed to the Snapdragon 835, it's still mighty powerful. That processor is paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Rounding out the specs, we have a 3300mAh non-removable battery, two 13-megapixel cameras on the back (one is a wide-angle while the other is a normal angle lens) and then a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Finally it is running Android 7.0 Nougat, with Google Assistant available out of the box.
