The Chromebook Plus Is Now Available From Multiple Retailers

The Chromebook Plus is now available from multiple retailers. The Chromebook Plus is one half the new duo of Chromebooks that Samsung announced during CES, the other being the Chromebook Pro which is still unavailable. If you were on the fence about Chromebooks and weren't sure which one to get, the Chromebook Plus might just be the option to convince you. It features an all metal build with a slim form factor and a 12.3-inch screen making it super portable. It's also $449 which makes it one of the more costly Chromebooks on the market, but that price is certainly worth it for what you're getting with the hardware in addition to the build quality.

You can pick the Chromebook Plus up right now at Amazon, and Newegg, as well as Samsung's own website, so there is no shortage of places to buy one. It is worth noting, though, that Newegg's listing still shows it as "notify" only, so it doesn't look like you can actually place the order there. Amazon's listing is in a somewhat similar position as it's listed as out of stock, you can still purchase it though and Amazon will ship it once it becomes available. Samsung also has it in stock and you can buy it right now, and Samsung will ship it out in 1-3 business days.

While Samsung's Chromebook Pro doesn't have the largest screen out there it also doesn't have the smallest, and it has a 360-degree rotating display so it can be used in multiple configurations to suit your needs and the situation. This includes being used as a regular laptop, but it can also be flipped all the way around to be used as a tablet, or it can be used in tent mode and display mode, both of which allow you to make use of the touchscreen display for things like Android apps, as this is one of the Chromebooks which also has support for the Play Store. It also comes with Samsung's built-in Pen, which is essentially the S Pen that can be found on Galaxy Note devices, though it isn't called the S Pen here. If you're looking to pick one up, you have your choice of where to get it.
