Some new info regarding the upcoming LG G6 flagship just leaked. According to reports from South Korea, the LG G6 will be made out of metal and glass, as some previous rumors suggested. This means that we'll get a phone which comes with a metal chassis which is placed between two sheets of glass, which is a rather familiar design. Now, the phone's battery will also be sealed, according to this info, which suggests that the phone will be water and dust resistant, and that's exactly what the source is claiming as well. If the provided info is to be believed, the LG G6 will feature IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, which means you will be able to submerge it in up to five feet of water for half an hour. A number of smartphones feature IP68 certification, so you're probably already quite familiar with the concept.

Now, a separate rumor, which also comes from Korea, claims that the LG G6 will sport a 5.7-inch 2880 x 1440 LCD display, which means it will come with a 2:1 ratio. Well, LG recently said that the 2.1 Univisium aspect ratio will be the 'window to the G6's soul', which suggests that it will come with a 2:1 display, but does not exactly confirm that it will be 5.7 inches in size, though, on the other hand, that's the only size of this display that LG unveiled thus far. In any case, the phone's top and bottom bezels will be extremely thin it seems, if the provided info is to be believed, we're looking at 4mm bezels in total, which is interesting, as that will make the LG G6 quite immersive. On top of all this, rumors are also suggesting that we can expect the device to sport a dual camera setup on the back, and a 32-bit audio DAC will also be included, as it was on the LG V20.

Interestingly enough, today's report also claims that LG will offer different features in different markets. Global markets will get a wireless charging coil, while domestic units will ship with a Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) chip. The phone will also, allegedly, cost more than its predecessor did, at least in Korea. If the source is to be believed, the LG G6 will cost around $770 in Korea, while the LG G5 was priced at $720 at launch. Now, if previous rumors are to be believed, the LG G6 will sport a smaller display than today's report claims, so is it possible that LG plans to release two size variants of the LG G6? Well, anything is possible, but it would be the first time LG does something like that for their flagship model. The LG G6 will ship with Android Nougat out of the box, and on top of it, you'll get LG's custom UI, of course. That's more or less it, the LG G6 will probably be announced during LG's February 26th event, so stay tuned for that.
