Make The Most Of Valentine's Day With Android For Singles

Valentine's Day isn't far away, and if your unlucky (or lucky, depending on how you look at it) enough to be spending the big day alone or single, there's still ways that you can make the most of the holiday, with your smartphone or tablet. Now you probably won't want to go out to eat on Valentine's Day, as most restaurants will be packed, but that doesn't mean you have to cook. The same goes with watching a movie or two. There are loads of things you can do on Valentine's Day, even though it does fall on a Tuesday this year, and most people are working that day.

Rent a Movie

There are loads of great ways to watch a movie at home, without having to go out to the theater. Apps like VUDU are great for renting movies, and they have a ton of them that are available in 4K Ultra HD. So yo can really have some fun watching movies, whether they are romantic movies, or action movies, it'll definitely make for a good night. Of course, you won't want to forget your popcorn. VUDU also has loads of great TV shows available, so you can catch up on the latest hit show, without having to go out and be a midst all of the loving couples celebrating Valentine's Day. VUDU is also offering up plenty of movies and TV show episodes on sale for Valentine's Day, so you can pick up some movies, or rent some for a discounted price and save some cash.

Order Takeout

Restaurants will be packed on Tuesday, with everyone celebrating Valentine's Day, but that doesn't mean that to beat the crowd, you have to cook at home. You can use GrubHub to order some food and either pick it up or have it delivered. With GrubHub, now many restaurants are delivering food (of course, this comes with an extra fee), making it easier to stay at home and not go out and about on busy nights like Valentine's Day. GrubHub has loads of different restaurants available, with just about every cuisine you can think of. With ordering from GrubHub, you won't even need to call up the restaurant and have someone take your order, you can do it all right there with your smartphone. Making things so much easier.

Another popular app for ordering food and picking it up or having it delivered is EAT24 which is now part of Yelp. If the restaurant you are looking for is not part of GrubHub, you'll likely find it on EAT24. Seeing as most restaurants do one or the other, and not both. Pricing is largely the same with both, and they both have plenty of specials going on all the time to save some cash.

Netflix & Chill?

Who says you need someone to Netflix & Chill? Just fire up Netflix and binge-watch your favorite show, or watch a few movies. In fact, it doesn't even need to be Valentine's Day to do just that. Netflix has thousands of hours of both TV shows and movies that you can watch on-demand. And they have a good number of them available in 4K these days. Which is even better for those that have a 4K TV available to watch them on. All you need is some popcorn, and it'll be the best Valentine's Day ever.

Find a Partner

Maybe you're a bit bitter about being alone on Valentine's Day, and you want to find someone to hang out with, Tinder has you covered. Tinder is probably the most popular dating app around, and that's largely due to how easy it is to find someone, and start chatting with them. Tinder will match you with people in your area, and with your preferences. So whether you're looking for a man or a woman on Valentine's Day, Tinder will have you covered.

Wrap Up

Just because you are alone on Valentine's Day, doesn't mean it needs to be a terrible experience. With technology, there's always ways to spend a day, even a day like Valentine's Day. Of course, there's plenty more you can do for Valentine's Day evening other than watch a movie or two, browse on Tinder, and order some food from your favorite Chinese restaurant on GrubHub. There's thousands of games that you can play on Android as well.
