Lenovo Vibe K5 Note 64GB Variant Launched In India For $201

Lenovo has revealed its latest handset in India, and it comes in the form of the Vibe K5 Note. While it certainly isn't a new Lenovo smartphone, it does come with an upgraded internal storage, which is now 64GB, instead of 32GB. The Vibe K5 Note with 64GB of storage will be available for purchase beginning 21st February, from online retailer, Flipkart. The device will be available in two colors, namely Gold and Grey, and both color variants will be priced at Rs. 13,499 ($201).

Lenovo initially launched the Vibe K5 Note back in August last year in India. However, back then, it was only available in 3GB and 4GB of RAM, coupled with 32GB of internal storage. While Lenovo may have launched a new storage variant today, the other specs of the 64GB storage variant remain identical to the 32GB storage variant. This includes a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, which pushes a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor which is clocked at 1.8GHz. On the other hand, graphics is handled by a Mali T860 GPU. The 32GB variant comes with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM, while the 64GB variant comes with 4GB of RAM. Both storage flavors support expandable storage of up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. For optics, the device sports a 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture on its rear, and it comes with a dual-tone LED flash, and is also equipped with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). Selfies are handled by an 8-megapixel camera which is equipped with a 77.4-degree wide-angle lens.

The Vibe K5 Note packs a decently sized 3,500mAh battery which is non-removable. Many Lenovo devices these days come with Dolby ATMOS audio technology and the Vibe K5 Note is no exception. On top of that, the device also packs a fingerprint scanner on its rear. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It should also be noted that this is a Hybrid Dual SIM device, allowing it to support either two nano SIM cards, or one nano SIM card and a microSD card. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes out of the box with this device.
