The Nexus 6P is still seen as one of the best Android smartphones available. And that's saying something, especially since it was released in late 2015. The Nexus 6P was the last Nexus device made by a partner with Google. And it was the only aluminum unibody smartphone in the program. It sported a 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of storage. There was also a hefty 3450mAh battery inside, which kept the device going all day long and then some. Not to mention the fact that it shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and now has Android 7.1 Nougat. Since it is a Nexus device, it does get security updates almost instantly and will get Android 8.0 this year.
Now while a $460 price tag still seems a bit steep for a Nexus 6P at this point, it's important to remember that a lot of people kept their Nexus 6P after the Pixels were announced - largely due to their steeper price tags. This is also the 64GB model, which will give you plenty of storage for all of your data. The Nexus 6P is currently only available in gold and it's going fast, so you'll want to grab one before it's gone.
