The Moto G5 has just leaked yet again, this time around we get to check out a Gold-colored variant of the device. If you take a look at the provided image, you'll get to see the same smartphone that we've seen leak a number of times thus far, so this is yet another listing that more or less confirms its design. The fingerprint scanner is placed below this phone's display, and this button will also serve as its home key, probably, though we don't know if it's a physical button, or just a capacitive one, we'll have to wait for the company to introduce the device in order to get more info.
The Moto G5's design is nothing to write home about, we've seen similarly-looking smartphones before, and the phone's bezels are not all that thin either, but the phone looks just fine from the design perspective, do keep in mind this is a budget device. That being said, the Moto G5 will sport some really nice specs considering its price point, or so the leaks have been suggesting. According to the leaked info, the Moto G5 will sport a 5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable native storage. The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 430 64-bit octa-core processor, along with the Adreno 505 GPU for graphics. A 13-megapixel shooter will be placed on the back of this smartphone, and a 5-megapixel camera will be located on its front side. A 2,800mAh battery will also be included in this package, and the phone will ship with a water repellent nano-coating. Android 7.0 Nougat will come pre-installed on the Moto G5, and this smartphone will ship with two SIM card slots. The phone will measure 144.3 x 73 x 9.5mm, while it will weigh 145 grams.
Most of this info surfaced quite recently, when the Moto G5's alleged promo images leaked. This smartphone was spotted on Geekbench quite recently as well, and it is expected to launch on February 26th during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, alongside its sibling, the Moto G5 Plus. The Moto G5 will be quite an affordable smartphone, though it remains to be seen how much will it cost exactly, based on its specs though, it will be a bargain.
