2GB RAM Redmi Note 4 Variant Now Available In India

Xiaomi had started selling the 2GB RAM (+32GB of storage) variant of the Redmi Note 4 in India, as the first flash sale of this smartphone kicked off earlier today. This variant of the smartphone costs Rs. 9,999 ($148) in the country, and is the third variant of the device to land in India. The 2GB RAM model joins the other two variants of this smartphone in India, considering that the company already launched 3GB and 4GB RAM models of their big battery mid-ranger in the country, both of which were available for purchase today as well.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 originally launched in China back in August, but Xiaomi introduced a new variant of the device in India on January 19th. The Redmi Note 4 which launched in China is fueled by the Helio X20 64-bit deca-core processor, while Xiaomi introduced the device’s Snapdragon variant in India last month. The 2GB RAM model of the device is identical to the other two Snapdragon variants in every way, except it comes with less RAM, and it is more affordable, of course. Xiaomi had managed to sell over 250,000 Redmi Note 4 units in India in only 10 minutes through Mi.com and Flipkart, as part of the first flash sale of this smartphone in the country.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 2GB / 3GB / 4GB of RAM in India, and 16GB / 64GB of expandable storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 625 64-bit octa-core processor, and it comes with a 4,100mAh battery which is not removable. A 13-megapixel camera is placed on the back of the Redmi Note 4, and a 5-megapixel shooter can be found on the front side of this smartphone. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on this smartphone, and on top of it, you’ll be able to find Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 OS. 4G LTE connectivity is also a part of this package, of course, and there are two SIM card slots available inside of this smartphone, one of which you can use as a microSD card slot in order to expand this device’s storage. That is more or less it, there are three variants of the Redmi Note 4 now available in India, so you have plenty of options.
