Top 10: Android News Stories - 01/22/17

Lots has happened in the past week in the world of Android, as the LG G6 design leaked via images of a case from Ghostek, showing off just about every angle of the phone. This gives consumers a real look at what the final design of the LG G6 is probably going to be, and although nothing is official until LG actually reveals the G6, it has to be considered that the design of the phone show in the Ghostek case images looks just like the leaks of the phone in renders.

In addition to the LG G6 case showing off the design, Nintendo finally announced the launch of Super Mario Run on Android. This technically marks their first official game on the platform as Miitomo is more of a social app. The launch, which happens in March, will also be following the launch of another Nintendo mobile title which they officially announced this past week. Having confirmed last year that they were going to launch a Fire Emblem mobile game, Nintendo unveiled during their Fire Emblem Direct live stream event that Fire Emblem Heroes is that mobile game, and that it's releasing on February 2nd. This past week, it was also revealed that Google is adding a new feature to Android for those running Nougat 7.1.1, called Instant Tethering, which allows you to share your internet connection between your devices with just one tap, so long as the feature is toggled on.
