Amazon is currently selling the Google Pixel and the Google Pixel XL. However, if you opt to buy through Amazon then it looks like you will be paying significantly over the odds. At least, if you opt for the XL model as Amazon is currently listing the larger Pixel smartphone for in excess of $1500. Which is a substantial increase from the less than $900 amount that Google charges directly from the Google Store. Of course, the difference is that Google has had some issues in keeping the Pixel and the Pixel XL in stock. Right now for instance, neither device is available to buy through the Google Store. While prices do fluctuate on Amazon and especially when sold through third-party sellers, what makes this particular listing a little more interesting is that the Pixel XL is being sold (and shipped) by Amazon directly. So there is no third-party seller involved here or looking to capitalize on the lack of Pixel stock elsewhere. This does clearly seem to be Amazon’s pricing for the Pixel XL at the moment.
If you are willing to pay just over $1500 for the Pixel XL from Amazon, then it is worth noting that Amazon currently only has stock of the Quite Black model and stock is limited, as there is currently only 15 left in stock at this price. Amazon does list the Very Silver model and the price for that one does start from $750. However, that half-price variant is sold through third parties and is for a used (like new) model. New versions will cost you about the same price as the black variant. Likewise, Amazon also has limited stock listed for the Silver and Black Google Pixel and with prices starting from $915. However, they are again being sold through third-parties and not through Amazon directly.
On a positive note, this $1500-valued model of the Pixel XL is one which comes with 128GB storage. So it is the greater storage variant. That is along with all the other specs on offer with the Pixel XL, including a 5.5-inch QHD display, 4GB RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, a 3,450 mAh battery and Android Nougat out of the box. As you might expect, this is the US unlocked model.
