Moto M Global Footprint Extends To Indonesia, Russia & More

The Moto M is now available in ten more countries including Indonesia, Libya, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Thailand and the Ukraine. Although information on pricing for each location has not officially been provided. The Moto M is an all-metal smartphone that is shaped very much in the same vein as the flagship Moto Z lineup but without the ability to accept Moto Mods. As such and in terms of the design, you can expect to find the "Moto" banding below the display and on the back. While the sides and the back of the device are slightly rounded for a better ergonomic experience.

The Moto M sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, boasting 401 pixels-per-inch (PPI). Some variants of the Moto M are powered by the Mediatek Helio P15 processor running at 2.2 GHz, while others differ in the processor department. Although all variants make use of the Mali-T860MP2 GPU to handle graphics. The more affordable Moto M variant comes loaded with 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage, while the more premium version boasts 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal memory. Both units feature a microSD card slot for expandable storage when needed. The primary camera is a 16-megapixel affair with an aperture of f/2.0, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and a LED flash. The front-facing camera features an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video chatting. The device is powered by a non-removable 3,050 mAh battery with rapid charging capabilities and also include Dolby Atmos for better sound. Additionally, the Moto M features splash-resistance and a reversible USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The device measures 151.4 x 75.4 x 7.9 mm and weighs in at 163 grams.

Lenovo’s lineup of Moto phones includes the new Moto Z series – the Moto Z Play, Moto Z, and the Moto Z Force – that can use third-party Moto Mods to benefit from extra functionalities. These include a JBL SoundBoost speaker, Hasselblad True Zoom Camera, a 2,220 mAh battery pack that also adds wireless charging, and a custom Insta-Share projector that can project a 70-inch picture. Motorola also released their old favorite Moto G and an entry-level Moto E. The Moto M completes the circle of Lenovo-inspired Moto smartphones, catering to just about every price range possible.
