Honor 6X Gets Unveiled In India, Two Variants Available

The Honor 6X is now official in India as well, after it launched in China back in October last year. It is also worth mentioning that the company showcased this smartphone during CES 2017, and also announced its expanded availability during that tradeshow earlier this month. That being said, the Honor 6X is now official in India, and we’re looking at the same variant of the phone that was announced everywhere else. So, let’s see what this phone has to offer, shall we.

The Honor 6X is a mid-range smartphone which is made out of metal, and despite its rather powerful spec sheet, it’s quite affordable, which is one of its main advantages. The phone features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass IPS display, 3GB / 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB / 64GB of expandable native storage. The device is fueled by the Kirin 655 64-bit octa-core processor by Huawei, and the phone comes with a 3,340mAh battery (fast charging included) on the inside, while it is worth mentioning that its battery is not removable. On the back of the Honor 6X, you’ll be able to find a 12-megapixel shooter (1.25um pixel size, 6P lens, PDAF) and a secondary 2-megapixel camera, while an LED flash is also placed there. The phone also comes with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and an 8-megapixel shooter is located on the front side of this smartphone.

This smartphone comes with two SIM card slots on the inside, and we’re looking at a hybrid dual SIM setup, which means you can use the second SIM card slot in order to expand Honor 6X’s storage. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 4.1 skin, though Honor did say that the phone will receive EMUI 5.0-based Android 7.0 Nougat update in the second quarter of this year. The device measures 150.9 x 72.6 x 8.2mm, while it weighs 162 grams. The Honor 6X comes in Gray, Silver and Gold color variants to India, and its two variants cost Rs. 12,999 ($191) and Rs. 15,999 ($235) in the country. You will be able to purchase the Honor 6X starting from February 2nd (first flash sale), and you can already register for a flash sale, if you’d like, just follow the source link down below.
