If you can imagine a fully connected home that not only stops in your living room but extends to your kitchen, that's exactly what Griffin Technology wants you to do. The mobile accessories company earlier announced that they have a series of new AppPowered appliances to offer the most advanced homes in the world. Along with this announcement, the company unveiled their latest products, including a connected coffee maker, a smart toaster, and a WiFi mirror. Through the use of mobile integration, the company promises that its new smart appliances can help make your life easier in the kitchen.

For starters, their new smart toaster comes with Bluetooth technology so users can easily adjust the temperature of the toaster and choose how burnt they want their toast to be. Connecting this appliance with a smartphone, the user can create presets for various bread types they wish to toast. In addition to the toaster, Griffin's connected coffee maker lets its user adjust coffee quantity and how strong they want their coffee to be through the accompanying mobile app. Both appliances work over Bluetooth and are said to go on sale before the summer. Each will cost $100 when they launch in the market, proving that you don't need a lot of money to have either smart appliance sitting on your kitchen counter.

As for the WiFi mirror, Griffin has created a product that looks and feels futuristic to anyone using it. Just like its name suggests, the mirror works over WiFi to show its user the time, news, weather, and updates from other connected Griffin devices. It also comes with an app that allows you to choose the amount of information displayed on the mirror. This futuristic mirror is said to retail at $1,000 when it hits stores this year.

Despite its new range of connected home appliances, Griffin is not yet ready to let go of its main product. The company has promised to release its new mobile chargers, the PowerBlock Beacon and PowerJolt Beacon, this summer. The PowerBlock Beacon will retail for $40 while the PowerJolt Beacon will sell for $30, for those of you who are interested.
