CES 2017: Hands-On With FUGOO's New GO Bluetooth Speaker

There have already been quite a few Bluetooth products shown off at the event so far this week, and there's still more to come as FUGOO has a few more to show off. Building off their already popular lineup of speakers, FUGOO announced a new affordable speaker that they're adding into the mix called the FUGOO GO. This small yet powerful little speaker has quite a bit going for it, and here at CES we were able to check it out up close and get some hands-on time.

For those wanting a great little speaker that's easy to take with them pretty much anywhere, the FUGOO GO is likely to be that speaker. It's quite slim compared to most other Bluetooth speakers out there so it easily fits in pockets of bags or purses, and it boasts a range of useful features that while not uncommon on other speakers out there, are still great to have here. One of these features is the IP67 rating. This is something that can be found on a lot mre smartphones these days as well as all kinds of mobile accessories and other electronics. This makes the FUGOO GO waterproof and dustproof, so if you take it with you to the park, the beach, or wherever and it happens to get a little bit wet, it'll still work just fine.

The GO comes in a few different colors, including an all Black, a Black with Blue accents, and a Black with Red accents. In addition to being waterproof the GO speaker is also build and designed t be somewhat rugged so a drop on the ground or a bang up against a counter won't do much harm. It offers up 360-degree sound and pairing so connecting devices is simple, and sound quality hits all directions. Controls are also extremely easy to access as the volume management buttons are on the front, while the power button and pairing button sit on top. There's also a tiny loop that comes out from the side that can be used to tie the speaker around something like a bag, so if you have your backpack and want to keep the music playing without putting the speaker inside of it or without holding it, this feature comes in handy.
