ZUK's CEO Confirms ZUK Edge Flagship Is Coming On Dec. 20th

The ZUK Edge is ZUK’s upcoming flagship smartphone. This device has been leaking out for quite some time now, and many people have been expecting this phone to land on December 7th, but that did not happen. The company announced discounts for some of their already released smartphones, along with some other info, but they did not release the ZUK Edge. Well, the company’s CEO has just released a new teaser image on his official Weibo (Chinese social media) account, and this time around he definitely reveals when the ZUK Edge is coming.

If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see a partial image of the upcoming ZUK Edge flagship. This is definitely the upper portion of ZUK Edge’s front side, without a doubt, as the device had leaked a number of times thus far, and all the leaks were showing off the same phone, not to mention that the device was already certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC), and TENAA also shared images of the ZUK Edge. In addition to this image, ZUK’s CEO also revealed that the phone will be announced on December 20th at 2PM (local time), which means that we're less than a week away from this announcement. Now, the ZUK Edge is a really interesting smartphone, in addition to a really sleek design with thin bezels, it will pack in high-end specs, and thanks to the aforementioned TENAA listing, we know the specs of this smartphone already.

The ZUK Edge will sport a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display, 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. The Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor will fuel this smartphone, along with the Adreno 530 GPU which will be in charge of graphics processing. On the back of the ZUK Edge, you’ll be able to find a 13-megapixel shooter, while a 5-megapixel camera will be available on its front side. Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow or Android 7.0 Nougat will come pre-installed on this smartphone, and on top of it, you’ll get ZUK’s ZUI user interface. The phone will be available in both Black and White color variants, and it will be 7.68mm thick, while it will weigh 160 grams.
