White ZUK Edge Render Leaks, Company's CEO Shares New Image

ZUK is a Chinese company which is backed by Lenovo. This company had introduced three smartphones thus far, and the fourth one leaked quite a few times in the last couple of weeks. We’re talking about the Lenovo ZUK Edge smartphone which was not only certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) in China, but its arrival was also teased by the company’s CEO recently, who confirmed that the phone will launch this week. We already know what will this smartphone look like thanks to TENAA and the image that ZUK’s CEO shared, but a new leak just surfaced, read on.

If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see a new render leak (first image), and a new image that the company’s CEO shared (second image). As you can see, the ZUK Edge will sport really thin bezels, this is the clearest render of the phone that leaked thus far. The phone will ship with a home button below the display, and the fingerprint scanner will be built into it. The power / lock and volume rocker physical keys are clearly visible on the right-hand side of this phone, and its SIM card slot will be placed on the left side of the phone’s body. The second image in the gallery gives us a look at the right side of the white ZUK Edge, and in addition to the metallic trim and a set of physical keys, we also get to see that the phone’s speaker will be placed on the bottom of the phone, and next to it you’ll get the Type-C USB port. Now, there are two white ZUK Edge devices shown off in this image, and the one on the left actually features what seems to be an official case, this is a flip cover of sorts, and it has a cutout on the front, which means we’ll be able to see some info on the phone's display without opening the case.

The ZUK Edge will feature a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. This phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core SoC, along with the Adreno 530 GPU. The device will sport a 13-megapixel camera on the back, while a 5-megapixel shooter will be available on the device’s front side. The 3,000mAh battery will be included here as well, and Android 7.0 Nougat will come pre-installed on the phone, with the company’s ZUI user interface on top of it.
