Video: OnePlus 3T Review

When OnePlus delivered the more mid-range, but absolutely gorgeous OnePlus X last year, we fully expected to see a sequel to that this year. OnePlus has changed things up again on us though, and instead of a mid-ranger we got another high-end phone that's actually the complete replacement of OnePlus flagship launched back in late Spring. The OnePlus 3T is the "turbo-charged" version of the OnePlus 3, featuring an identical build to the aforementioned phone but with some improved elements under the hood. The OnePlus 3T features an upgraded processor, the Snapdragon 821, as well as a larger 3,400mAh battery. This might only be a 13% increase on paper, but in practice it's quite a bit more of an upgrade.

The front-facing camera has also curiously been upgraded to 16-megapixels, up from the 8-megapixel camera on the OnePlus 3, and provides some unbelievably sharp imagery for those all-important selfies. The price has also received a bit of a bump too, moving up from the sub-$400/€400 price point to a slightly margin-healthier $439/€439/£399 price point instead. Upgrades certainly aren't free, but these sorts of upgrades are some seriously great additions to what was already one of our favorite phones of the year. OnePlus definitely knocked it out of the park with the OnePlus 3, and the OnePlus 3T seems to be a great follow-up to that phone.

All of OnePlus accessories for the OnePlus 3 still work perfectly here since nothing has been changed on the body, and that too means all those accessories online will work just as well for the OnePlus 3T. Check out our review update of the OnePlus 3T if you're more inclined to read about OnePlus' latest updates, and don't forget to read more detail about what the OnePlus 3T offers in our OnePlus 3 review as well. Since this phone is a complete product replacement of the OnePlus 3, you should know that you're essentially getting all the greatest parts of the OnePlus 3 without every negative point we could find on the phone. It's really a phenomenal upgrade to say the least, so be sure to check out our video review below to see it in action, and of course head on over to OnePlus website to grab your own today!
