Top 10 Best Car Mounts for Android - December 2016

We all know that using your phone while you're driving is definitely dangerous, but we just have to have our favorite tunes playing while we are driving, and most people use their phone for navigation as well. That's where car mounts come in handy. These allow you to mount your phone on the dashboard and still see your phone and interact with it, without having to take your eyes off of the road. And here are the top 10 best car mounts available right now.

WizGear Universal Air Vent Magnetic Car Mount

This car mount actually connects to the air vent in your car. This makes it easy to take it from one car to the next. It connects to your smartphone using magnets. If you don't want to put the magnet on your phone, you can put it inside the case on your phone and it'll still work just fine.

Kenu Airframe+

This is another phone mount that uses the air vent in your car to mount your smartphone. It works with just about any smartphone, no matter the size. Which is a great thing, considering we have smartphones as large as 7 inches and some that are even smaller than 4-inches these days.

Zilu Car Phone Mount

This phone mount from Zilu does actually sit on your dashboard, so it's a bit higher up than the others we've listed above. Making it a bit easier to keep your eyes on the road. The Zilu Car Phone Mount can be used in both portrait and landscape, so you can use it basically however you wish.

CHOETECH Universal Air Vent Cell Phone Car Mount

Here is another air vent mount, this time from CHOETECH. It's a universal one, so it'll work with just about every smartphone that is currently on the market. It's a great car mount because it's nice and sturdy and will allow you to use Google Maps while keeping your eyes on the road.

Anker Air Vent Magnetic Universal Phone Holder

This air vent phone holder from Anker is another great one to check out as well. Like most of the others on this list, it does also use magnets to hold your smartphone in place. Which is much easier than having adjustable arms to hold it in place. Like the name hints at, it is a universal phone holder, so it'll support just about any device out there.

Anker CD Slot Car Mount

This is another car mount from Anker, instead of using your air vent, this one actually uses the CD slot in your car. Which is a pretty interesting concept, but it seems to work out pretty well. Just put the mount into your CD slot then put your phone in the mount and you're good to go.

AUKEY Car Mount Air Vent Magnetic Phone Holder

AUKEY also has a nice air vent car mount here. This one does also use magnets to hold your smartphone in place. Like with other car  mounts, you can put the magnet in the case on your phone and it'll still hold your smartphone in place, keeping it from sliding off while you're driving.

TechMatte MagGrip CD Slot Magnetic Universal Car Mount

Here's another car mount that uses the CD slot for keeping your phone mounted, this time it's from TechMatte. It's a pretty popular mount, and keeps your phone in place while you're driving, so you can continue to use your phone for things like navigation with Google Maps and even making phone calls.

Mengo Slim-Snap Magnetic Air Vent Car Mount

This car mount from Mengo also snaps onto the air vent in your car to mount your smartphone. It'll allow you to use your phone for reading and replying to messages, making phone calls and much more, without having to touch your phone (which is illegal in California soon).

Anker Dashboard Cell Phone Mount

Finally, we have Anker's Dashboard Phone Mount. This mount will attach to your dashboard and allow you to angle where you want your phone to be. It does work in both landscape and portrait, so you can put it at an angle that you are more comfortable with. It's a great car mount to pick up and since it is universal, it'll work with any smartphone.
