Bluetooth headphones are becoming more and more popular these days, largely thanks to manufacturers deciding to take out 3.5mm headphone jacks on their smartphones. There are plenty of advantages to Bluetooth headphones, number one, there's no cord. So you are free to move around as you wish. However they can also be a bit heavier, due to their battery. There are some great Bluetooth headphones available on the market right now, including these:
Bose QuietComfort 35 Wireless Headphones
The QuietComfort 35 (also called the QC35's for short) from Bose are some of the best Bluetooth headphones around. They are very comfortable to wear, but they also provide some incredible battery life. We're talking about 20 hours of continuous playback before needing to be recharged. Additionally, they have fantastic noise cancellation making it a great choice to take on your next flight.
Sony Extra Bass Bluetooth Headphones
Sony's Extra Bass headphones are another great pair of headphones, that are Bluetooth, and these are actually about a third of the price of the Bose offering above. Battery life is still pretty incredible, with about 20 hours of playback. Sony has 40mm drivers inside which make for a great audio experience, especially with the lows. After all, that's why they are the "Extra Bass" headphones.
Sony Premium Noise Cancelling, Bluetooth Headphone – MDR1000X
These are Sony's latest, high-end noise-cancelling Bluetooth headphones. They are known as the MDR1000X and are typically priced at $400. They are worth every penny. Like the Extra Bass headphones above, you get 20 hours of continuous playback here, but you also get hi-res audio, which is something that audiophiles are going to love. Despite having a pretty large battery, for 20 hours of playback, the MDR1000X's are still pretty lightweight and portable.
Jaybird Freedom F5
The Freedom F5's are some of Jaybird's newer headphones, and they are just as great as their other offerings. The Freedom F5's offer fantastic sounding audio as well as great battery life. We're talking about 8-10 hours on a single charge. Which is pretty impressive to say the least. Despite that, they are still very lightweight and are sweat-proof. Making them the perfect pair to take to the gym and get your sweat on to your favorite music.
Samsung Level U Pro Bluetooth Wireless In-ear Headphones
While LG has made the neck-buds a popular style for Bluetooth headphones, the Samsung Level U Pro are pretty great in their own right. They feature about 9 hours of playback, before needing to be recharged. Additionally, they can stand about 300 hours of standby, so they are good to sit in your gym bag for a few days. Like the Jaybird Freedom F5's, the Level U Pro's are great for taking to the gym, due to how comfortable they are and the fact that they are sweat proof.
Symphonized Wood Headphones
Symphonized may not be a popular name like the others on this list, but they do offer up some great headphones at a great price. These in particular are made with wood, so not only do they offer some pretty great sound, but they also look great. And who doesn't want to look great while they are listening to music?
Beats Powerbeats 2 Wireless In-Ear Headphone
If you're more into Beats headphones, then the Powerbeats 2 are also a great pair to pick up. These are wireless in-ear headphones, similar to the Jaybird Freedom F5's listed above. These offer some pretty sick battery life as well, we're looking at around 10-12 hours on a single charge. These are another great pair to take to the gym with you.
Philips X2/27 Fidelio Premium Headphones
For those that may be audiophiles, the Philips X2/27 Fidelio Premium headphones are a good pair to check out as well. They are a bit expensive, but still cheaper than a few on this list. They offer high-resolution audio, with the 50mm drivers inside. These are not Bluetooth headphones, but we thought we'd make an exception here.
Bluedio HT Turbine Bluetooth Headphones
Bluedio has a great pair of Bluetooth headphones here which are currently available for under $50. That's quite a steal for headphones like these. They are available in white, blue and red, and look amazing in all of these colors. They also feature 57mm ultra large dynamic drivers, giving you some amazing audio into your ears.
Photive BTH3 Over-The-Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones
