The Great Android Holiday Giveaway 2016-2017 Prizes
Android Wear – If you are in the market for a new Android Wear-powered smartwatch then Google has you covered. Google has provided us with three Android Wear smartwatches to give away. The first is one of the newer smartwatches to come to market and one which is built to be durable, the Nixon Mission smartwatch. As well as its durable build, this is a smartwatch which comes equipped with a 1.39-inch fully-circular AMOLED display, with a resolution of 400 x 400. Inside, you will find 512MB RAM, 4GB storage and a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100. The second prize up for grabs is one of the most popular Android Wear smartwatches, the Huawei Watch. This one comes boasting a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with a 400 x 400 resolution, along with 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor. While the third prize on offer is the Polar M600 Sports Watch. This is an Android Wear-powered smartwatch which is designed for the more sporty types in mind. So as well as coming equipped with a 1.3-inch TFT LCD display with a 240 x 240 resolution, as well as 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal storage, this one also comes equipped with an IPX8 certification. Which means that this smartwatch will remain operable even when submerged in water to a depth of 10 meters. In fact, Google has provided us with two Polar M600 Sports Watches to give away. So all in all, you have four chances to win an Android Wear smartwatch courtesy of Google.
ASUS – ASUS has been kind enough to provide us with two different prizes for this year's Android Holiday Giveaway contest. The first of which is the ASUS ZenPad 3S 10. This is an Android-powered tablet which comes equipped with a 9.7-inch display, while inside comes packing 4GB RAM and is powered by a MediaTek MT8176 processor. The second prize on offer from ASUS this year is the ASUS ZenFone 3 Laser smartphone. This is a 5.5-inch smartphone, one which comes packing 3GB RAM and one which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor.
Huawei – Up Next is Huawei who has kindly provided us with a Huawei Nova Plus to give away. This is one of the company's latest smartphones and was initially released along with the standard and smaller Huawei Nova. In fact, the Nova and Nova Plus combines are two smartphones which represent a new smartphone line from the company. In terms of the Nova Plus specifically, this is another 5.5-inch smartphone and one which comes packing 3GB RAM and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. Besides the size differences of the two Novas, another of the 'Plus' sized aspects is the inclusion of a 16-megapixel rear camera.
LeEco – LeEco might be fairly new to the US, but they have kindly provided us with their latest flagship smartphone for you to win. This is the LeEco Le Pro 3, a smartphone which includes a 5.5-inch display, 4GB RAM and is powered by the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821. Not to mention that unlike the majority of other prizes on this list, this one comes with additional added-value due to its ability to deeply synchronize with the wider LeEco ecosystem.
Lenovo – Lenovo has provided us with two products to give away and both of these are new products and high-end products. The first of which should need little introduction as this is the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro. The big selling point with the Phab 2 Pro is that this is the world's first Tango-enabled smartphone, which means this is a great option for those interested in augmented reality. Besides the Tango functionality, this is also a smartphone which comes with a big 6.4-inch QHD display, 4GB RAM and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. The other prize on offer from Lenovo is the Lenovo Yoga Book. While the Phab 2 Pro is the first of its kind smartphone, the Yoga Book is also a novel looking and functional product. Essentially, this is a 10.1-inch Android-powered tablet, however, it is also a foldable, 2-in-1 Android tablet. One which as well as being touch-based, can also be used with the attached keyboard and included stylus. Making this one of the most versatile and powerful Android tablets currently on the market.
LG – LG is another manufacturer who has kindly provided us with a prize to give away for the Android Holiday Giveaway, is their current and highly-sought after major flagship device, the LG V20. Not only is this an ideal device for photographers and audiophiles alike – due to the LG V20's dual-rear camera setup and high-end audio functionality and tweaks, but this is also a smartphone that boasts some compelling specs, including a 5.7-inch QHD display, 4GB RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor powering the smartphone. To make the prize a little sweeter, LG is also throwing in an LG TONE Active wireless stereo headset as well. These headphones include retractable earbuds, a durable design and build which includes an IPX3 certification for water and sweat resistance.
Motorola – Motorola has three different prizes up for grabs this year. The first is the Moto G4 which is a 5.5-inch smartphone that comes packing 2GB RAM and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. The second prize is the Moto G4 Plus which is rather similar to the Moto G4 and is another 5.5-inch smartphone. Although, the G4 Plus has seen a few bumps in certain departments like its cameras. While the third prize on offer from Motorola is the Moto Z Force. This is one of the latest flagship smartphone from Motorola and this is another 5.5-inch smartphone. Although, this one comes with a QHD display, 4GB RAM and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. One of the big selling points with the Moto Z range in particular, is their use of Moto Mods and Motorola has also thrown in some Moto Mods as part of the prize as well.
Qualcomm – Qualcomm is also taking part in this year's contest and is offering two lucky winners the chance to win an Astell&Kern AK XB10. For those new to this type of device, this is a great product for those interested in an improved audio experience. The Astell&Kern AK XB10 comes equipped with Qualcomm's aptX HD technology, enabling the AK XB10 to transmit 24-bit music quality over Bluetooth. As a result, and thanks to its Bluetooth codec support, the AK XB10 is able to turn any headphones into a pair of wireless headphones. You simply plug in your 3.5 mm (or 2.5 mm) headphones and the AK XB10 does all the work by connecting to your Bluetooth-enabled streaming device – like your smartphone for instance.
Sony – If you are more into the Xperia way of doing things then you will be glad to know that Sony is also taking part in this year's contest with two great Xperia products to give away to one lucky winner. The first of which is one of the company's latest X-series smartphones, the Sony Xperia XZ. Of the new X-series of smartphones, the XZ is the newest and is a smartphone which comes packing a 5.2-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Inside the Xperia XZ comes loaded with 3GB RAM and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. As well as the Sony Xperia XZ, the winner will also receive the equally new Sony Xperia Ear Bluetooth headset. While this is a Bluetooth headset which will allow you to make and receive calls hands-free, this is also a smart headset as it allows you to speak commands (including sending messages, checking your schedule, using search, navigation, and more) and have the commands answered directly (and discreetly) back to you.
Sprint – The US carrier Sprint is also taking part in this year's Great Android Holiday giveaway and the carrier is offering not one, not two, not three and not even four, but five HTC 10 smartphones. So if you have been on the lookout for a HTC 10 this year, there are now five up for grabs thanks to Sprint. Of course, the HTC 10 is the current flagship smartphone from HTC and one which makes use of a 5.2-inch display. Inside, the HTC 10 comes loaded with 4GB RAM and is another smartphone which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. So while this is one of the smaller flagship smartphones of 2016, it is certainly a powerful one.
Verizon – Verizon has been very kind to us this year as they have not only provided us with one flagship smartphone, but two different ones. Up for grabs is the Daydream-ready Google Pixel, which is a 5.2-inch smartphone and packs in 4GB RAM and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. While the second smartphone is the modular-focused Moto Z Droid. This one is another 5.5-inch smartphone which also comes packing 4GB RAM and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. It is also worth pointing out that Verizon has also thrown in a free case to go with the Google Pixel and some free Moto Mods to go with the Moto Z.
ZTE – ZTE has also now joined in the festive fun and teamed up with Qualcomm to provide us with not one, but two ZTE Axon 7 smartphones to give away. This is a smartphone which comes equipped with a 5.5-inch display along with a QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution. While inside the ZTE Axon 7 comes loaded with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. In addition, you will also find a 20-megapixel rear camera, coupled with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Not forgetting that the Axon 7 also comes loaded with a a 3,250 mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0, a USB Type-C port and a fingerprint scanner.
Android Headlines – Last but not least, it is only fair that we join in the Great Android Holiday Giveaway as well. So in addition to the chance of winning any of the above-mentioned devices, you also now have the chance to win the Google Pixel XL smartphone, courtesy of us here at Android Headlines. This is one of our favorite smartphones of 2016 and one which comes packing a 5.5-inch QHD display, as well as 4GB and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. In addition to a number of unique software tweaks, like the integration of Google Assistant, on top of the latest version of the Android operating system, Android 7.1 (Nougat).
