Meizu Sold 1 Million Meizu M5 Note Handsets In 21 Seconds

Meizu had introduced two new smartphones recently, the Meizu M5 Note and Meizu PRO 6 Plus. The former is the company’s mid-range offering which comes in several variants, while the latter one is Meizu’s flagship phablet for 2016, and the most powerful smartphone this China-based company ever introduced. That being said, the Meizu M5 Note is a great deal for the price, and the phone actually went on sale in China yesterday, and we’re now getting some sales info to share with you.

Meizu’s M1 Note, M2 Note and M3 Note handsets have been selling really well in previous years, and it seems like the same will happen with the company’s latest mid-ranger, the Meizu M5 Note. Meizu had managed to hit the one million sales mark after just 21 seconds of selling this handset through the Jingdong Mall (JD.com) in China. Needless to say, this is a great result for Meizu, and it will be interesting to see how many devices will the company be able to sell in the first week of sales, and if they’ll be able to meet the demand. The Meizu M5 Note actually follows the lead of the Meizu M3 Note which had been announced earlier this year, these two devices are quite similar in many ways, though Meizu did their best to give the Meizu M5 Note some additional goodies in order to sway you.

The Meizu M5 Note is made out of metal, and comes in three different variants, as two 3GB RAM models are available, and one 4GB RAM variant. The 3GB RAM Meizu M5 Note devices ship with either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, while the 4GB RAM model comes with 64GB of native storage. These three variants of the device are priced at 899 Yuan ($130), 999 Yuan ($145) and 1,499 Yuan ($217) in China, respectively. Do keep in mind that Meizu plans to start selling the Meizu M5 Note outside of China in the near future, and we’ll know more soon. This smartphone features a 5.5-inch fullHD display, and packs in a 4,000mAh battery. MediaTek’s Helio P10 64-bit octa-core SoC fuels the phone, and a 13-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of the Meizu M5 Note. Click here if you’d like to know more about this smartphone.
