Many people would say that the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are amongst the best smartphones currently available, especially considering the fact that the Galaxy Note 7 crashed and burned due to its battery issues. These two Galaxy S7 handsets are still Samsung's flagships, but the company is expected to introduce their successor(s) during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) next year, or in April at the latest, as some rumors have been suggesting. In any case, the Galaxy S8 rumors have been popping up all over the place, and a rather interesting render surfaced recently, allegedly showing off the Galaxy S8.
If you take a look at the provided image, you'll get to see the image, but don't get filled with joy just yet, as this is not the upcoming Galaxy S8 flagship. This phone sure looks great from the design standpoint, but Samsung's employee noticed this render, and was quick to praise the design, but he also denied that this is the upcoming Galaxy S8. In any case, this phone sports a curved display, quite similar to the one on the Galaxy S7 Edge, and its top and bottom bezels are extremely thin, while the physical home button is nowhere to be found. We don't really see the power / lock or volume rocker keys on the sides of this smartphone either, but the company's branding is present below the display, and the front-facing camera is located next to the speaker grill. Now, we're guessing that the sensor next to the front-facing camera is the LED flash, but we cannot say for sure. This phone has a really high screen-to-body ratio, as you've probably noticed yourself already, its screen-to-body ratio is certainly above 90%, and it might even be higher than what the Xiaomi Mi MIX has to offer (91.3%).
The Galaxy S8 is expected to come in both Exynos and Snapdragon SoC variants, and it will probably ship with 6GB of RAM on the inside. Latest rumors are suggesting that we can expect the device to sport a QHD display once again, and it is possible we'll see more than one variant of the phone, a couple of different sizes have been mentioned in rumors. The phone will probably be made out of metal and glass, though we cannot say for sure just yet.
