Deal: Sony Xperia XA Ultra for $229 - 12/5/16

The Sony Xperia XA Ultra is a great smartphone from Sony. It's one of their few "large" smartphones, sporting a 6-inch 1080p display. It's not what a lot of people would refer to as "high-end" but with a regular price of under $400, it's not a bad smartphone. Today and today only, B&H Photo is offering up the Xperia XA Ultra for just $229. That's a great price for anyone looking for a new smartphone this holiday season, especially if you prefer a larger smartphone, seeing as the Galaxy Note 7 isn't available, due to an unfortunate situation.

As mentioned, the Xperia XA Ultra does sport a 6-inch 1080p display, it is also powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 3GB of RAM. This is powered by a 2700mAh battery, which may seem small, given the size of the device. However, remember that this is a lower-resolution display, so it should (in theory, at least) be great at power management. For optics, we're looking at a 21-megapixel rear shooter with phase detection autofocus. While the front-facing shooter is a 16-megapixel sensor.

This is an unlocked smartphone, and will support GSM networks. Sadly, Sprint and Verizon are left out in the cold with the Xperia XA Ultra. But if you are using AT&T or T-Mobile (or any of their MVNO's like Straight Talk, Cricket, MetroPCS, etc), it'll work just fine. Remember that this deal runs out at midnight EST tonight.
