The OnePlus 3T is the most powerful smartphone this company has ever introduced. The device was introduced last month as a higher-end OnePlus 3 model, even though the two devices are quite similar, they even look the same. The OnePlus 3T comes with a more powerful SoC, larger battery unit, better front-facing camera, additional storage option and a sapphire lens for its main camera. Having that in mind, the company had recently announced the OnePlus 3T in India, and they also said that the phone will become available in the country on December 14th, and that's exactly what just happened.
The OnePlus 3T is now available for purchase in India, as per OnePlus' promise. Both the 64GB and 128GB storage models of the device can now be purchased exclusively through Amazon India, and they cost Rs. 29,999 ($445) and Rs. 34,999 ($520), respectively. OnePlus had announced both the Gunmetal and Soft Gold OnePlus 3T variants, but only the Gunmetal version is currently available in India, the Soft Gold model will arrive at a later date. It is also worth mentioning that the OnePlus 3T is scheduled to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update later this month, as the beta variant is already available for those of you who are willing to flash it on your device. The OnePlus 3T sure is a powerful smartphone, it is made out of metal, and it packs in really high-end specs. The device comes with a 5.5-inch fullHD Optic AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of storage. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor, and a 3,400mAh non-removable battery is included on the inside. The 16-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of this smartphone, and a 16-megapixel shooter is available on the front side of the phone as well, though it is inferior to the rear-facing unit. The fingerprint scanner is placed below the phone's display, and even though it may look like it, that is not a physical home button, but a capacitive one.
