Amazon Alexa Can Also Track Santa on Christmas Eve

Amazon's personal assistant is able to track Santa on Christmas Eve thanks to the Kayak skill that is available. Much like Google Home, Alexa is able to let you know where Santa is on his trip around the world to deliver presents to all of the good boys and girls. The Google Assistant can already track Santa Clause through the Google Home speaker, so you can see exactly where he is. And so can any device with Alexa included. That means the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Amazon Tap, Amazon Fire TV and even their lineup of Fire tablets.

To get started, it's pretty easy. You'll just need to enable the Kayak skill, which is available in their little Alexa store (you can do this through the Amazon Alexa app, or Once the Kayak skill is enabled, all you have to do is say "Alexa, ask Kayak to track Santa". Now since it isn't yet Christmas Eve, she will simply ask if you've been a good boy or girl, she may also say that Santa is using Kayak to plan his trip on Christmas Eve and to check back on December 24th to track his location. As Alexa does with many things, she offers up different phrases for you.

With the Kayak skill, users are also able to ask when Santa will arrive at their location or ask a specific city – of course this only works on Christmas Eve. It's a pretty cool skill to use, especially if you have kids that are anxious to see where Santa Clause is, and how soon he'll be arriving at their house to deliver their presents. The Kayak skill is also great to use to find flights to a specific city. You can ask Alexa to find you flights to Los Angeles, and she will tell you the average pricing right now. If you choose to continue, she'll go ahead and ask you for more information like what dates you plan to leave and return.

Right now, most of Amazon's Echo line of products are sold out, but they are still discounted so you are still able to purchase them and they'll arrive when they are available. The Amazon Echo Dot is priced at $39, Amazon Tap at $89 and Amazon Echo at $139 at the time of writing this. They typically cost $49, $129 and $179 respectively.
