ZUK is a Chinese smartphone manufacturing company which is backed by Lenovo, one of China's largest tech companies in general. ZUK had released three devices thus far, the ZUK Z1, ZUK Z2 and ZUK Z2 Plus. Well, another ZUK-branded smartphone got certified in China recently, the ZUK Edge. This will be the company's new flagship, and it will also sport curved display on its sides. The company's CEO actually teased the arrival of both black and white variants of the ZUK Edge quite recently, and the phone just paid a visit to AnTuTu as well, read on.
According to AnTuTu, the ZUK Edge will sport a fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, while it will ship with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core SoC, which is Qualcomm's most powerful mobile processor at the moment. You'll also get the Adreno 530 GPU along with this SoC, and Android 7.0 Nougat will come pre-installed on the ZUK Edge, if AnTuTu is to be believed. The 13-megapixel snapper will be placed on the back of the ZUK Edge, and an 8-megapixel camera will be available on its front side. AnTuTu also reveals that this phone will carry the 'Z2151' model number, just in case you were wondering.
Now, as per TENAA's (China's equivalent to the FCC) listing and some additional leaks, this phone will sport a home button below the display, which will double as a fingerprint scanner. The phone's bezels will be quite thin all around, and its physical power / lock and volume rocker keys will be located on the right side of its body. The device will come with a 5.5-inch display, and a 3,000mAh battery will be included on the inside, which is something AnTuTu did not reveal, but TENAA did a while back. Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 tech will be included here as well, and you'll also get two SIM card slots as part of this package. The phone will also come in a 4GB RAM variant if TENAA is to be believed, but only the 6GB RAM model got certified by AnTuTu thus far. That is more or less it, we still don't know when will this phone land, but you can expect the company to announce it soon.
