The Lenovo ZUK Edge has been one of the most leaked smartphones lately. ZUK is a Chinese company, and it is backed by Lenovo, even though it’s technically a separate company, just to be clear. In any case, this company had introduced only three smartphones thus far, and the ZUK Edge is supposed to be their fourth and most powerful offering. This smartphone had been certified in China already, by TENAA, so we know how will it look like and what specs it will sport. The company’s CEO confirmed that the phone is coming a couple of weeks ago, and he has just shared some new images via his official Weibo (Chinese social media site) account, read on.
The company’s CEO, has shared an actual image of the ZUK Edge, though its back side is covered by a case it seems. He has actually shared two images, and in the second image in the gallery down below you can see the device, along with its retail packaging, and two additional boxes that are packed on the inside, probably for the phone’s charger, cable and case. The case that is included here is seemingly made out of leather, and the device will sport really thin bezels all around, and its display seems to be a little bit curved on the sides. In addition to all this, the company’s CEO confirmed that the company will announce this smartphone next week. Now, as far as ZUK Edge’s specs are concerned, this smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. The phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor, along with the Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. On the back of this smartphone, you’ll get a 13-megapixel camera, and the LED flash, while an 8-megapixel snapper will be available on the phone’s front side.
The 3,000 mAh battery will be placed on the inside, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow or Android 7.0 Nougat will come pre-installed on this smartphone, along with the company’s ZUI user interface. The ZUK Edge will measure 142.9 x 74.5 x 7.68mm, while it will weigh 160 grams. The ZUK Edge will be available in both Black and White color variants, at least if rumors are to be believed. The phone will be launched in China soon, and as soon as we get more details, we’ll let you know.
