Top 10 Android News Stories - November 13th, 2016

There's always something interesting happening in the world of Android, and this past week has proven to be no different. While not really an Android device, a new ASUS Chromebook has surfaced in images this past week that has a metal body design with clean lines and a slim profile, codenamed "Cave," which also features the same flip around design as the Chromebook Flip so the laptop can be used in a tablet-like fashion. Speaking of leaked images, a set of leaked renders has surfaced this past week of Samsung's folding "Galaxy X" smartphone based on the designs that were seen in the recently discovered patents that Samsung picked up.

Another unreleased Samsung device was in the news this past week, as there were more rumors surrounding the Galaxy S8, Samsung's next flagship set to release in 2017. According to the most recent rumors, the device will come with two screen size models, and both will feature curved edge screens. With the launch of Google's Daydream View headset now official, the application for the headset that makes it work as released into the Play Store this past week, and a new rumor popped up that states Samsung may be looking into developing and manufacturing its own fingerprint readers. When it comes to new devices, HTC officially launched the Bolt this past week, although this is an exclusive device for Sprint.
