The LG V20 S May Be An International LG Isai Beat

LG's V20 S may be launching soon in Europe, and may be Europe's version of the LG Isai Beat which has already been announced for Japan and is launching this month, otherwise known as the LG V34. Furthermore, the LG V20 S may soon launch in other international markets beyond Europe as well. The Isai Beat is essentially a smaller version of the LG V20 for the Japanese market and comes with many of the same features as the LG V20, although it has a slightly smaller display and half the internal storage, sporting 32GB of space internally and taking a decrease in display size to 5.2-inches.

For its smaller amount of storage and its smaller screen, though, the LG Isai Beat also gains a feature that the LG V20 doesn't have - it's waterproof. According to a recent rumor, the LG V20 S is expected to be waterproof as well, and come with the same size display as well as the same amount of internal storage as the LG Isai Beat. So while LG has not confirmed that the LG V20 S is coming, nor that it will essentially be an international version of the Isai Beat, rumors of the two phones having the exact same specifications suggests as much.

If the LG V20 S and the Isai Beat are one and the same, then aside from the 32GB of internal storage space, the waterproof rating, and the 5.2-inch display, the LG V20 S could also come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor on the inside which would be paired with an Adreno 530 GPU for the graphics processing. Other specs would be Android 7.0 Nougat for the software with the latest LG UI on top, as well as expandable storage support via the microSD card slot, a 16MP rear-facing camera plus an 8MP wide-angle rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, all powered by a 3,000mAh battery inside. Currently there is no confirmation from LG that the V20 S and the Isai Beat are the same phone, but it wouldn't make sense for them to release an entirely different phone with the same or extremely similar specs. That said, there is likely a chance that European and other international consumers will know what to expect when and if the LG V20 S launches in their regions.
