The Gear S3 Classic and Gear S3 Frontier are due to start shipping on November 16th, which is next Wednesday. These are Samsung's latest smartwatches, and like the previous Gear S2, it is also running on Tizen. The Gear S3 Classic is, as the name states, a more classic looking smartwatch, while the Gear S3 Frontier is made to be a watch that would be used by those that like to go on hikes and such. The only real difference between the two, other than looks, is the fact that the Gear S3 Frontier is available with LTE, while the Gear S3 Classic is only available with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.
Both of these watches are starting at $349, and can be pre-ordered right now. To prepare for the launch next week, Samsung has started posting some how to videos on YouTube for the new watches. As is usually the case with new hardware, users are going to have trouble with doing different tasks on the Gear S3 Classic and Gear S3 Frontier, so these videos are here to help them out. Some of the videos included show you how to be organized with Gear S3, how to explore the world, how to tune your ride, how to be a super dad and more. You can watch all of the new videos down below.
Smartwatches haven't become as big of a market as many manufacturers were hoping it would. But Samsung has been one of the few manufacturers to actually be able to sell a decent number of them. Additionally, they aren't using Android Wear, which makes them the only Android manufacturer to sell a smartwatch not running Google's OS. Luckily, the Gear S3 Classic and Gear S3 Frontier do work with other Android smartphones, but it does work better with Samsung devices, mainly due to having Samsung software, therefore it's better integrated with the watch. If you haven't already pre-ordered either smartwatch, you can do so by hitting any of the links down below. Samsung right now is the only one selling it, but other retailers should begin selling them shortly.
