Promo Posters Say Huawei Mate 9 Pre-Sales Start On Nov. 4th

The Huawei Mate 9 announcement is right around the corner, as the company plans to introduce this smartphone later today in Munich. The Huawei Mate 9 is the company’s upcoming flagship phablet, and the amount of leaks we’ve seen in the last couple of weeks is insane. The device has been popping up on a daily basis, which does not exactly come as a surprise. In any case, the company’s Senior VP shared a rather interesting animated image earlier today which shows off the Huawei Mate 9’s design, well, parts of its design, and now we have a new leak to share with you, read on.

A couple of promotional posters leaked online, and they seemingly reveal when will the Mate 9 become available for a pre-order. According to the provided info, the Huawei Mate 9 will become available on November 4th in China, so the consumers in China should be able to pre-order the phone soon after it launches in Munich. Now, we still don’t know whether the same applies for consumers in the US and Europe, we’ll have to wait and see whether that’s the case, Huawei will probably reveal all the necessary info during the event later today. In addition to the pre-sale date, these two posters show off the Huawei Mate 9 as well, and this image goes hand-in-hand with pretty much every other leaked image we’ve seen recently.

The Huawei Mate 9 will be made out of metal, and it will ship with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. The phone will pack in two rear-facing cameras, quite probably 20-megapixel and 12-megapixel sensors with Leica’s lenses on top. Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel this phablet, and we do expect it to sport a battery of over 4,000mAh. Android 7.0 Nougat will come pre-installed on the Mate 9, and the company’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 5.0 skin will be available on top of Google’s OS. The device will probably ship with 6GB of RAM and multiple internal storage variants. Now, it is possible that the company might introduce the second, ‘Pro’, variant of this smartphone which will sport a curved display, but we’ll see what happens.
