OnePlus 3T Will Be Available From O2 In The UK

Two months ago, OnePlus and O2 partnered to bring the OnePlus 3 to the shores of the UK, including the option to buy it on contract. Now, O2 has announced that the partnership between the two firms will continue on with the arrival of the successor of the OnePlus 3, which comes in form of the OnePlus 3T. The carrier made the announcement on its forum and has mentioned that pre-orders for the OnePlus 3T will begin on November 17, which is less than two days away. The OnePlus 3T will be available in the US from November 22nd, while customers in Europe will be able to get their hands on the device beginning November 28.

In the UK, the OnePlus 3T will be available for pre-order from O2, be it from their brick stores, online store or over the phone. As for tariffs and pricing details, the carrier will be announcing them soon, though the price may be slightly higher than OnePlus' as O2 has priced other OnePlus products slightly higher in the past. It is also unknown whether the OnePlus 3T will replace the current OnePlus 3 on O2's shelves

Less than a day ago, OnePlus announced the OnePlus 3T and the device is pretty similar to its predecessor. Specs include a 5.5-inch fullHD AMOLED display, along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. The same 16-megapixel rear camera found on the OnePlus 3, can be found on the OnePlus 3T. When it comes to the differences between the two devices, OnePlus has focused on the processor and battery capacity. The OnePlus 3T packs a newer Snapdragon 821 processor and also a larger 3,400 mAh battery. The front facing camera has also seen an upgrade, and has been upgraded to a 16-megapixel camera. In addition to the 64GB storage variant, the OnePlus 3T will also be available in a 128GB model. The Graphite color which was available for the OnePlus 3 has now been replaced by the new Gunmetal color for the OnePlus 3T. The new smartphone from OnePlus will be running on the latest OxygenOS 3.5 which is tweaked with more customizability options while maintaining a stock-like appearance.
