The Meizu PRO 6s has been surfacing for a long time now, and Meizu has finally announced the device in China. The Meizu PRO 6s is a direct successor to the Meizu PRO 6, and the phone looks almost identical to its sibling. Meizu has opted to use the same build, more or less, for the Meizu PRO 6s, and they're identical on the outside, save for some minor differences in size which are not exactly that noticeable. In any case, let's see what the Meizu PRO 6s has to offer, shall we.

The Meizu PRO 6s is definitely not the Exynos 8890-powered smartphone with a curved display that many consumers wanted to see today. We already knew that the company will not launch such a phone today considering that the company's VP confirmed it a while back. In any case, the Meizu PRO 6s is made out of metal, and it actually shares most of its internals with the Meizu PRO 6. Just like its sibling, this smartphone features a 5.2-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) pressure sensitive display, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. MediaTek's Helio X25 64-bit deca-core processor fuels the Meizu PRO 6s, and a 3,060mAh battery is included on the inside, and considering it is quite a bit larger than the unit used in the PRO 6, it should provide better battery life.

The Meizu PRO 6s features a 12-megapixel snapper (Sony's IMX386 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF) on the back, and you also get a laser autofocus here, as well as a ring-shaped LED flash sensors. The 5-megapixel shooter is placed on the front side of this smartphone, and this camera is actually identical to the one available in the PRO 6. In terms of audio, the Meizu PRO 6s packs in the Cirrus Logix CS43L36 chip, which will enable HiFi audio output on the Meizu PRO 6s. 4G LTE connectivity is available here, of course, and the phone comes with the Type-C USB 3.1 port. The aforementioned battery pack is non-removable, and it supports fast charging, you do get a 24W adapter in the box. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed here with the company's Flyme OS which is available on top of it. The device comes in Moonlight Silver, Rose Gold, Black Star and Champagne Gold color variants, while it is priced at 2,699 Yuan ($400) in China. The phone will become available in China tomorrow, in case you're interested, we still don't know when will the global variant be rolling out.
