Meizu M5 Note Gets Certified, Will Launch On December 6th

Meizu had scheduled a press event for December 30th not long ago, and the company had released several teasers for that event. It seems like Meizu will introduce one new smartphone, and the new version of their Android-based UI during the December 30th event. The Meizu X has been leaking for quite some time now, and if rumors are to be believed, that phone will see the light of day on December 30th, not to mention Meizu also kind of confirmed that with one of their teasers. The other teaser this company released, on the other hand, hints that Flyme 6 is coming as well, and chances are it will come pre-installed on the Meizu X.

Having that in mind, yet another Meizu-branded smartphone has been leaking out lately, the Meizu M5 Note, but it seems like it won't be announced on December 30th as some rumors suggested. The Meizu M5 Note is said to launch next month, in December, as a larger variant of the Meizu M5 which arrived a couple of weeks ago. The company has started sending out invites for its launch on December 6th, as you can see in the third image down below. Having that in mind, the Meizu M5 Note just got certified in China in three variants, which is quite interesting, considering previous rumors / leaks suggested that only one Meizu M5 Note variant will get launched. The Meizu M621Q comes with a 4,000mAh battery, while the Meizu M621M and M621C ship carry a 3,920mAh battery pack, we presume some of these variants are meant to be delivered to Chinese carriers. Now, all three of these devices feature a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, and Meizu M5 Note will come in 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. These three RAM models will pack in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of internal storage, respectively, and you'll be able to expand that internal storage via a microSD card up to 128GB. The 13-megapixel camera will be placed on the back of the Meizu M5 Note (all variants), and a 5-megapixel shooter will be included up front. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on the device, and MediaTek's Helio P10 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel the Meizu M5 Note.

The phone will measure 153.6 x 75.8 x 8.15mm, while it will weigh 175 grams. TENAA's listing says that the device will be available in Black and White color variants, but due to the fact the Meizu M5 launched in a number of color variants, we do expect the Meizu M5 Note to become available in a number of colors as well.
