Google's 'Really Blue' Pixel Will Be Available To Buy Again

The Pixel and the Pixel XL are two of the newest smartphones to become available and are so far, proving to be popular choices. The two were officially unveiled on October 4 along with a number of other 'made by Google' products and soon afterwards, became available to pre-order. Following which and towards the end of October, the Pixel and the Pixel XL became available to buy as part of their general release. Although, not all variants have gone through this fluid process.

In particular, some models like the 128GB model of the Pixel XL have been the subject of stock shortages and have at points, remained out of stock. Although, not anywhere near to the level of the 'Really Blue' Pixel. Of course, the difference between the blue and 128GB model is that the Really Blue one is a limited edition model. So it is understandable that stock would indeed, be limited. However, as potential consumers have had a really had a hard time in getting hold of the Really Blue model, it does seem to be the case that this limited edition version, was extremely limited. To put this into perspective, while the 128GB has gone out of stock and returned, the Really Blue model has not really returned since it first went out of stock, which was on the first day it became available to order. Which inevitably has meant that a majority of those who are interested in the Really Blue variant, have yet to have a proper opportunity to buy one.

That said, a new report out of Android Police today states that Google has confirmed that the Really Blue Pixel will make a return to the Google Store soon. Details beyond the actual confirmation of the return were not provided, so there are no details on when it will make a return, how much of a return it will make or how long it will return for. Although, the Google spokesperson (who was accredited with the confirmation) does suggest that those interested in picking up the Really Blue Pixel should make use of the Google Store's 'join waitlist' feature to register their interest and be alerted as to when new stock does become available.
