Gionee S9 Coming On November 15th With A Dual Camera Setup

Gionee is a Chinese smartphone manufacturing company which is mostly active in Asia. This company had released some interesting devices in the last couple of years, including their Elife E8 flagship, and a number of big battery, Marathon-branded smartphones. That being said, two variants of the Gionee S9 were certified by TENAA (China's equivalent to the FCC) in China quite recently, and the company has just officially confirmed some details about the GIonee S9, and also released the phone's release date.

The Gionee S9 will be announced on November 15th, the company has confirmed that fact by releasing an official teaser image on their Weibo (Chinese social network) page. If you take a look at the image above, you'll get to see the aforementioned image, and you'll also notice that the featured phone sports a dual camera setup on the back. Now, if TENAA's listing is to be believed, we're looking at 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel shooters here. The company's branding will be placed right below the dual camera setup, which is also quite visible in this image. The Gionee S9 will be a metal-clad smartphone, just in case you were wondering, and a 3,000mAh battery will be included on the inside of this smartphone. The fingerprint scanner will be available below the phone's display, and that button will also serve as a home key, while two capacitive buttons will flank it. The phone's cameras will protrude on the back, which is quite visible in the images down below.

The Gionee S9 will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass display, along with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. The phone will be fueled by the Helio P10 64-bit octa-core SoC by MediaTek, and a 3,000mAh battery will be included here as well. The 13-megapixel snapper will be placed on the device's front side, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on this phone along with the Amigo OS 3.2. This smartphone will ship with a hybrid dual SIM setup (micro + nano SIM), which means you'll be able to use the second SIM slot in order to expand your internal storage via a microSD card. The device will measure 154.2 x 76.4 x 7.4mm, while it will weight 166.5 grams.
