UPDATED: Deal: Unlocked ZTE Axon Pro $249.98 – 11/11/16

The unlocked smartphone market is booming right now. Which is not too much of a surprise, as this is a market which now offers unparalleled value for money. While not having to pay top prices for smartphones, you still can expect to get a very good smartphone at a very good price. One option which is currently available as an affordable unlocked smartphone is the ZTE Axon Pro. As well as other things, this smartphone looks to offer the user a very good audio experience and unlike the majority of smartphones nowadays, the Axon Pro actually comes with a free pair of headphones in the box, JBL in-ear headphones, no less.

In terms of the specs, the ZTE Axon Pro comes equipped with a 5.5-inch display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution. Inside, you can expect to find 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. Cameras come in the form of a dual rear camera setup (which includes 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras), as well as an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Additional features include Hi-Fi audio playback, a 3,000 mAh battery, and more. It is also worth pointing out this is a GSM unlocked model and so should be good to work with AT&T, T-Mobile and other GSM-based carriers.

If this sound like a smartphone that you might be interested in picking up, the ZTE Axon pro does come with a listed $399 retail price, although you can find it much cheaper through various places online. However, the best deal right now is from Newegg through their eBay channel where you can pick up the ZTE Axon Pro unlocked for only $249.98. At that price, this is a very good deal on a very good smartphone.
