Sony's most recent smartphone to date has now gone on sale for a nice little discount here in the U.S., coming down from $649 to $499. This is a pretty decent savings considering the phone was just recently launched a little bit earlier this year, and definitely not a bad deal if you're a Sony fan. This is for an unlocked model of the phone and it comes with a U.S. warranty, meaning this is the U.S. model and it will work on GSM carriers such as T-Mobile or AT&T.
The Sony Xperia XZ comes equipped with 5.2-inch Full HD display which is protected by Gorilla Glass 4. Sony has also designed the edge of the glass and the device with a slight curve to make the phone more comfortable to hold in the hand. Beyond the design, Sony has fitted the Xperia XZ with a 23-megapixel rear-facing camera with predictive hybrid autofocus, laser autofocus, and RGBC IR. On the front the phone sports a 13-megapixel sensor for selfies and video chat. On the inside the phone is powered by the latest CPU with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, which is paired with an Adreno 530 GPU for the graphics, as well as 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space and support for expandable storage up to 256GB. Battery wise it's carrying a 2,900mAh battery, it comes with USB Type-C for the charging port, and it's running on Android Marshmallow.
